Kiyo is a contemplative soul stuck in a kittom body. After being reincarnated, he still retains memories of his previous life and often finds himself aching to return to old haunts, in the beautiful eternal night forests of Silveil, where he and his past lover often walked.
It was there by Starlake that they first confessed their love to each other. By the famous Silveil Eldertree, they had promised their undying love to each other--a love they hoped desperately would transcend space and time, and, ultimately, carry over into their next lives.
Kiyo remembered every loving touch, every warm embrace, each word of affection. He knew, in time, he would come across her in his new life. In his mind, they would reunite with tears and full hearts; unfortunately, the world is cruel.
He chanced upon her one day, Iris was her new name; Kiyo recognized her right away but when he walked up, her eyes were barren of familiarity. She did not remember him at all, there was no flash of recognition whatsoever.
He was devastated. Desperately grasping at straws, he hopes to bring her to Silveil someday--perhaps familiar surroundings would bring back their treasured memories...
