Heeds, as his few friends call him, is a charismatic, persevering son of a bitch. No matter what you do or say, you could never fully put him down. His past was certainly not the best, but currently he finds himself among better company with Zohan and Monza, who treat him with the kindness he always deserved.
AKA, the silliest guy you'll ever meet!! (with copious amounts of trauma piled onto him)
Backstory
Heeds was born in an extremely religious town on the country side, it was small enough for everyone to know everyone, and for your deepest darkest secrets to become the daily gossip. He experienced a rough childhood that left him with severe religious guilt, trauma, and an "irrational" fear of older men.
Growing up, LockHeed was the scapegoat for his family and the townsfolk. Ever since he was born, there seemed to be something inherently wrong with him, yet nobody could point it out. Punishments piled up despite merely existing, and Father Russo haunted his days.
Despite the awful shit he went through, he remains joyous, scars and all. As his good friend Jake the Dog once said, "changing is our normal state. Even if we're not changing on the outside, we're changing on the inside constantly... As long as I know the shape of my soul, I'll be alright."
Scar HistoryHeeds arm was almost sliced right off when his brothers dragged him across the ranch by his forearm wrapped in barbed wire. When his parents didn't defend him, citing bible verses in response, LockHeed snapped and his daddy branded him with a cross for questioning God's kindness.
With his family neglecting him, he was left to the church where Father Russo took advantage. LockHeed was no longer the happy child, snapping and biting like the scared mutt he was. At one point, he made the mistake of trying to run away and tell one of the townsfolk. Father Russo had eyes and ears everywhere and muzzled him up, locking him in the attic of the church where he gained the rest of his scarring.
Miscellaneous Information
Heeds is a polyglot and can speak English, Arabic, Welsh, and German fluently! He picked them up from books and foreign TV shows to distract himself when little. Oftentimes, when alone, he would talk to himself, pretending to be a different person with each language.
LockHeed had DVDs of the entire Adventure Time series growing up and grew very attached to Jake the Dog. He saw him as the "cool older brother" that he never had.
On the topic of family, Heeds is the youngest of four boys. Due to being the smallest, he was often picked on, his parents turning a blind eye to the hazing he received.
Design
Has a slight tooth gap (diastema) after losing an adult tooth early on.
His right eye has no shine, an odd phenomenon that Heeds cannot explain.
Ears have their own mind, one often up while the other is folded over.
Fur is reaaaally curly! Even if he tried, LockHeed could never straighten it.
