Azélia was raised for the most part by her mother-in-law Marshmallow. Her mother, Yodokia, wasn’t around very often due to her job that was taking most of her time. For the most of her childhood, she didn’t get along with Marshmallow unless the blonde woman agreed to give her something in exchange of her service or good behavior. Later on, at the end of her teenage years, she somehow started to get along with her mother-in-law but never got that close with her, always preferring her mom. When she graduated, she moved away from them to pursue a physics degree in order to later work in the astronomy field as she’s a fan of the universe. However, she never truly worked in that field. During her university years, she worked for the black market and was mostly selling human meat to demons like her. That’s the moment when she met Aria and used her as a bait for many missions and faked her feelings to her so her ex-girlfriend would obey. It ended by Azélia throwing Aria « under the bus » because she almost got caught. Nonetheless, since Aria and Azélia share the same specie, Aria still has to see her and do business with her such as buying her -overpriced- human meat. Afterwards, Azélia continued to work for the black market but was confided with more missions involving human trafficking for example. Her ultimate goal is, at some point, to raise herself in the government so she can have even more power.

At the end, Azélia is a vicious lady who won’t hesitate to use everything in her power to get what she wants. It is said that once people served their purpose, they get thrown away by her. Her only goal is to achieve great power and eventually crush any obstacles on her way. She hardly feel remorse or sadness toward anyone she wronged.
