Ronnie's estranged son. 

He used to be the apple of his father's eye before his mother's infidelity broke their family apart. He blames his father for the messy divorce, believing Ronnie's ensuing spiral into alcoholism to be the cause, as his mother has hidden her affair from Jacob his entire life.

He dislikes his father for the fact that Ronnie had become increasingly neglectful while he was growing up. He refuses to reconcile, but a part of him still desires his father's love and approval.
