Backstory

Split from Sanako's soul when she was 6 months old and instantly loved Lance, their mother, Saya, happy that Sanako's soul had split while their father, Edward, had been unhappy but appreciated that Sanako was now calmer. Lance was a calm baby most of the time but when left alone with their father would cry a lot for others, as if they could sense their father's disapproval with the situation and seek someone else to take care of them. 

As the years went by Lance watched Sanako try and get their father's attention only for it to fail each time; usually with harsh words from him. Lance often trying to comfort Sanako and try to convince her to stop because they didn't want to see Sanako hurt but Sanako did not listen. Lance stuck to Sanako's and Saya's side while avoiding their father because Lance found the man scary and saw how he reacted to Sanako when she tried to reach out to him. Saya illness became worse and she was confined to a bed, their father became harsher and started hitting Sanako while Lance anxiously started to avoid their father even more in fear of getting hit. They often went to go tell someone in their family but Sanako would stop them and convince them not to, scared to make their mother's illness worse with scaring her with the situation but tried harder to pull Sanako from trying to gain his attention towards herself. 

Eventually Saya passed away when Lance was 12 and watched it destroy their father. While in the past he mostly acted cold around Lance he started to become violent towards Lance as well. Now that Saya was gone Sanako and Lance wanted to tell someone but every time they were alone was with the tutors that were scared of Edward and told him when the children tried to talk to one of the tutors about what was happening. 

Relationships

Sanako Screamer | Half | Close;cares for each other and Lance feels safe when with her.

Saya Screamer | Mother | Deceased

Rensho Screamer | Uncle | Cares greatly for Lance and they care for him as well. Lance often feels grateful for Rensho because he spoke about his suspicions on Edward.

Edward Screamer | Father | Not in contact; grew up wary and scared of him, would prefer never to interact with him again. If they saw him again they would probably have a anxiety attack and their form would become unstable. 

Fred | Uncle | Not in contact but recalls lots of guilty looks thrown towards Sanako and later Lance when they were small that confused them but now knows is because he knew about the abuse.

Ottie Screamer | Relative 

Extra

• Wears whatever they find cute.
• When Sanako and Lance are together Lance will often hold onto Sanako's clothes.
• Claps when excited.
• Likes having tea parties with Ottie and Foxxy.
• When hanging out with Pierce they usually nap and play with each other's hair. 
• Fond of most animals; especially hedgehogs, felines and dogs.
