Opal is a very dedicated hard worker, content to wear themselves to dust working around the clock, to atone for everything else about them. They don't argue much and tend to just go with the flow, and apply as much of themselves as they can in every scenario. They cling very closely to those who they trust and would follow them to the ends of the earth. At home they will occasionally shift back into a cat to curl up by the fire, or receive pets from Lilac.

Opal has issues communicating with anyone outside their family, tending to freeze up very easily, especially if said person is attractive. They have a strong flight reflex and will often run and hide at the first hint of confrontation. If they can't, they'll freeze up and follow any instructions given.

Then

Lilac and Opal grew up in an abusive household. On top of the neglect and abuse, Opal was often too sick to leave the house, or their bed. Because of this, Lilac stepped up, caring for her sister and vowing to get them out of the household. Once Lilac was old enough to run away without being arrested and dragged back, she grabbed Opal and they left, running towards a better future.

Now

After enough saving up and working tireless, round the clock jobs, Lilac and Opal saved up enough to buy a small clothing store. Opal works tirelessly in the back, creating fashions, while Lilac stands out front, dealing with customers and selling Opal's fashions.

Recently, a strange older woman keeps breaking into the back and kidnapping Opal. It's hard to say what will happen first - Opal falls in love with the mysterious Tsuru, or Lilac finally murders the reckless thief.
