Bees

   Bees, a peaceful little dog who lived happily, and safely in his "Lighthouse" home, until Nitrox came along.

    There is a second plane of existence known as the "Temporal Plane" that overlaps the world of Autal. In some areas there is more of an overlap than in others, and this overlap is what gives him something called Soul-connection. Since his physical form is in the Autal plane, and his mind is linked to the Temporal one, when he disconnects, or breaks the soul connection, he basically enters a dream state, where his body goes dormant and his mind recedes into the Temporal Plane.

-If the connection is intact Bees is fine and able to go about his business.

-When the connection status weakens his soul begins to leak out from the physical form, and his body tries to manifest around it to keep it contained within him so that he can stay conscious. This often results in him phasing rapidly between observer and dog form to the point where he resembles only an amorphous blob of black, sticky, melting tar.

-When there is no connection he will collapse, his soul having disconnected fully from the body, and he will be stuck mentally in the Temporal Plane until someone moves the body into the souls range of contact and the connection can be reestablished. His body does not die when a disconnect occurs, it merely becomes dormant while the spirit is gone. Though, this can be dangerous depending on where he is at. For example, say he collapses into a stream and the body drowns. Essentially a disconnect can mean death for him because if he collapses and no one is around to guide the soul back to the body, then he is stuck wandering in the temporal plane forever.

    He lives in a small signal tower, called the "lighthouse" by many, that, for some reason, is a safe haven and will keep him grounded at all times, but when he wanders out he has to be cautious of where he travels. This uncertainty has made him afraid to start too far from home, so he doesn't really get to see much, which can be pretty boring, and pretty lonely.


    Bees is a small pup who simultaneously loves and hates existing. You can probably find him sitting alone by the lakeside outside his home or wandering through a nearby flower field having a hard time breathing and keeping calm, but if you can get him to relax he'd probably love to go frog catching with you. He is very timid, and has a slight stutter when he speaks...
     And for some reason, he can't seem to remember anything about his past..?

Oh, and, contrary to what his name is, he actually doesn't really like bees. He's okay with them, but if they get too close he will probably run away from them very quickly.
