Type: Aberration
Appearance: Small dark creatures with slightly iridescent skin, about one foot tall at most. They can have a variety of body shapes, some walking two legs, on all fours, or sometimes a singular leg. All seem to have long tails, sometimes multiple, and have two digits on each limb. Most have two points atop the head that look like ears or horns, though they don't seem to function as such. Their entire bodies are rubbery and malleable and can be squeezed/mashed easily.
Other names: Impian, Sprite, Hob
sexless/genderless. Most aberrations do not sexually reproduce.
Behavior: Relatively harmless, imps enjoy pestering people and stealing small items. They seem to have no desire to directly harm people or animals but they tend to spar amongst themselves for entertainment. They are particularly drawn to the presence of magical energies and sorcerers. They make chirps and yips to communicate but cannot otherwise "speak" (They don't seem to understand the languages of mortal people). Oddly enough, Imps do not seem to express fear or pain when hurt unlike most aberrations- In fact, It's uncertain if they have these feelings at all. They don't eat, sleep, or defecate, as they have no internal organs or orifices.
Interactions with people: Seen as pests and are not typically looked upon with much reverence. Misplaced belongings are often blamed conveniently on imps, often with sincerity but also as a joke. Children usually enjoy playing with them, much to the dismay of their parents.
Uses: Their "innards" (more akin to slime) are sometimes used as a weak glue when no other options are available. They do not taste good and provide little to no nutrients, but are technically edible without negative side effects.
