Estella was born in the small region of Fiore ! Both of her parents were Pokemon Rangers who cared a lot for Pokemon and their natural habitats. It was her parents' roles as Pokemon Rangers that made Estella grow up adoring Pokemon and always treating them with as much kindness and patience as possible. Due to the lack of schools in the Fiore region, Estella's education was quite stunted when she was young. When she was around seven years old, the family moved to Sinnoh after her parents left the more intense Ranger jobs to the younger generations. The family often travelled to different regions to sightsee and interact with more Pokemon. When her parents decide to retire, they end up moving to Anistar City in Kalos. Estella has her sights on the big city though, and so moves out with her three bear Pokemon! While living in Lumiose City, Estella ends up being a blog writer with a bright and fun personality! That makes her writing very popular !! She also ends up modelling part time, often alongside her dear Ursaring !

Estella and Corbeau meet when they are both in their early 20s, when Corbeau's leadership of Rust Syndicate was quite new. Despite how intimidating he was on their first meeting, Estella liked Corbeau a lot and could tell he wasn't as scary as he tried to come across. She was never actually intimidated by him or the Syndicate, especially after seeing how attached he is to his Scolipede. Corbeau, however, was almost head over heels for her as soon as he saw how much she loved and cared for Pokemon. She was also a good trainer despite not using Mega Evolution. By the time Z-A takes place, the two have been together for three years! From the outside, it looks like their dynamic is sun x moon, but really Corbeau is unintentionally very silly and it's one of the reasons why Estella loves him ! She has a lot of love for him and there are times where she'll visit his office with treats for all of his party Pokemon. She loves to show in little ways that she cares!

In Z-A, Estella is immediately sweet and friendly to the player. She's more than happy to help with anything! She's a roaming character gameplay-wise and can be found in various places in the city, either standing near Wild Zones or sitting outside cafes, sometimes writing on a laptop. When spoken to, she will heal your party! Despite coming off as a bit clumsy and ditzy at times, she is a good trainer and a good ally! She tells the player that even though mega evolution is all the rage right now, there's no harm in having Pokemon that cannot mega evolve as plus moves are also very powerful! There are moments where she brings up Corbeau but their relationship would be confirmed in-game near the end. Estella is with Corbeau and helps with fighting the rogue mega evolutions. Afterwards, she uses herself as bait and runs through the alleyways to lead away rogue megas so that the Rust Syndicate can make their human ladder safely. The idea of Estella leading away rogue megas when she does not have any Pokemon that she can mega evolve visibly distresses Corbeau. She does eventually come back afterwards, but all of this shows how much Estella cares for Corbeau, his Syndicate and the player.
