Tatsu Midori

A boy of dragonian descent. When he was seven years old, a band of "dragon slayers" razed the village his family lived in. His parents were killed and he suffered severe burns that left him blind. Luckily he was found by a merchant from a nearby village and taken to a dryad healer. Without her help he surely would have died from his injuries. 

He doesn't remember much from that night, but a fear of fire sticks with him. 

He trained with a master to learn "spirit sight". Thanks to this ability he is able to "see" the spirits of living things which helps him navigate. 

He is wary of leaving his village since he is afraid that if he does, when he comes back it will be gone. He sees it as his job to protect it and the people who helped him. He feels something calling to him from the south, but it would take a big push for him to go and investigate.
