 Name: Inner Beast

 Description: He has a feral, wolf-like form that's triggered by fight or flight instinct.

 Strength: When in his beast form, his durability skyrockets, as well as his agility and instincts. He can take some hard hits, and outmaneuver in order to survive.

 Weaknesses: As a purely instinctive Quirk that acts as a self-defense measure, Hiro has very little control over it and is prone to losing control. He's not currently aware of his own actions while in the beast form, and due to its volatility, he's spent very little time and effort in developing it.

 What age did you obtain it: 8 years old

 How did you obtain it (what was happening at the time): He and his parents were in a bus that got caught in the crossfire between a Hero and a Villain. The terror and fear triggered his Quirk. He managed to kill his parents in the chaos before he was contained.

Trivia

- His name contains the Kanji for 'beast' (獣, kedamono) and 'demon' (鬼, ki)

- He was a late bloomer, but most of his elementary school friends were okay with his Quirklessness. He was charismatic and smart, well-liked by his peers.

- After the tragedy surrounding his parents, his aunt's family didn't want him. He circled the foster system after that, and was forced to wear Quirk inhibitors indefinitely. For a while, kids at school didn't ask too many questions and he was still able to make friends. That is, until he was around 11, when kids started to learn what having Quirk inhibitors actually meant.

- He lived as a foster kid until he was 13, when he ran away from his current guardian and got a job in another part of Tokyo. He lived in an abandoned building in the meantime. He eventually found a job working for an old man who made and sold marionettes. He worked there for three years and developed a close, positive relationship with the old man.

- The old man actually helped him get the Quirk inhibitors off once they got too small for his wrists. The old man asked no questions and instead took Hiro to another man whom he trusted and whom also owed the old man money. The favor of removing the inhibitors called it square.

- After a near mugging, Hiro once again lost control and woke up in police custody. They took him to U.A., simply because they weren't sure what else to do with him at this point other than dump him in the pro hero Eraserhead's capable hands. 

- He has a really hard time relating to people, despite having the charisma for it. Instead, his charisma is twisted into a fabulous skill for insults.

- He thinks Katsuki Bakugou is a moron.

- In his spare time, he loves solving random puzzles in magazines or online. Mostly he hates being bored because a silent mind means time for thoughts he doesn't want to think.

- He's a distant cousin to Jun Ketsuka.
