Outgoing • Independant • Free-Spirited
Tsukiko is very outgoing and friendly person. She can be a bit girly and has sense of fashion when she goes out shopping. She is very lively and cares for a lot of people she come across. She is also known to be adventurous and loves to travel to places that are unknown to her. Tsukiko can be very 'hopeful romantic' and is very optimistic, knowing that she will have a romantic relationship one day. It is clear that she has a major crush on Katsuki Bakugo and had fallen in love with him since they were young, but was nervous to confess her feelings to him. Despite that many people told her that Katsuki had an unpleasant attitude and how he treats others, Tsukiko never judged him and knew he will change in the future, loving him no matter what everyone else says to her.
She also has a knack of cute things, whether they're accessories or fashion. She could never pass up on catching up with the latest trends on social media and is sometimes seen on her phone, looking at TikTok or Instagram. Caring about her hair is the main thing, just like her aunt Valerie, and would take care of it pratically everyday. If seeing her hair getting frizzed up with no proper care (accidentally), Tsukiko would get a little upset, but would always try work around it and would wear her hair naturally. She is addicted to drinking boba tea drinks, but her main favorite is panda milk tea.
While she shows a positive trait, Tsukiko does a negative trait-- anger being one of them. She does not get angry easily but only if someone provokes her into getting anger (like Neito poking fun at her for liking Katsuki). She also dislikes spiders and shows intense fear of them when seeing them on sight. During the Lunar Eclipse phenomenon, Tsukiko's personality would shift into a psychotic and destructive manner with no self-control of herself, something that her mother Harumi would fear. When Tsukiko had discovered of her actions during the Blood Moon phase, she would feel very remorseful and had feared that it would come back to her again in the future. She does however hope to find a way to prevent this from happening so she would not hurt her loved ones.
History
Tsukiko is born to parents Harumi Yozora and Zaire Johnson. Her mother Harumi was a nurse who worked at a hospital, while her father Zaire is a retired mercenary and originally lived in New York, United States of America. Zaire had moved into Sapporo, Japan after he married his wife Harumi. Tsukiko is the second child of the four children.
Tsukiko's childhood was based around the lavender farm field that is currently owned by her maternal grandmother Tsukiyo Yozora in the Hokkaido Prefecture. She had enjoyed the main attraction of her grandmother's field and had played in the field several times with her elder brother Katashi. One night at the of 4 years, Tsukiko had went outside to play with Katashi while their parents were asleep. During the full moon phase, Tsukiko had not realized that she was releasing a full blast of lunar energy that almost struck Katashi, only to hit a tree and causing a loud thud, alerting their parents and grandmother. Harumi and Zaire (along with Tsukiyo) had came to see the terrified look of Tsukiko, who recently developed her quirk under the full moon. While they were scolding their children for sneaking out at night, Harumi and Zaire were eventually happy that Tsukiko had developed her quirk at age young age. A year later, Tsukiko had won two twin sisters, Nobuko and Kohana.
At the age of 8 years, Tsukiko had moved out of Sapporo to Musutafu after her father had landed a new job out there. While her grandmother Tsukiyo had chose to stay behind to continue her landmark attraction, Tsukiko would visit her on summer vacations. She would later meet Katsuki Bakugo, who had found her playing in the arcade with Katashi. He had offered her a challenge on playing an All-Might game, to which she accepted and eventually played together. With a few wins and losses, Tsukiko had grew to like the boy and had asked if he like to be her first friend. Katsuki had laughed at her response and called her a stupid girl (which angered Katashi who stood and watched on), eventually he had let her hang out with him. Tsukiko was happy to be his friend, despite the protests of her brother who pointed out Katsuki's unpleasant attitude. She also had met Izuku Midoriya through Katsuki, winded up being his friend as well.
By a few years before the main series, Tsukiko had attended to Ajisai Middle School where she had met Himiko Toga and became friends with her. Despite that Himiko had an odd vibe within her, Tsukiko had never judged her and enjoyed hanging out with her. By the time it was Himiko's middle school graduation, she had disappeared without a trace. Tsukiko had grew worried that she was kidnapped by a villain or ran away from home. She later discovered that Himiko was the suspect of the bloodsettling murders that had been happening around lately, including the attack on a student named Saito, who was popular among everyone in their school. Tsukiko was very horrified on what her friend had become and didn't know what else to do, other than her father had demanded her to end contact with Himiko and block her on all social media. One night, Tsukiko had received a text message from a number that is not familiar to her, which the beginning of the message that reads "Girlfriend". The whole message that Tsukiko had read was very unsettling and she quickly replied to Himiko that she would want nothing to do with her, causing the anger from the latter. After sending her a threatening message, Tsukiko had told her fahter about what was going on and eventually Zaire had reported it to not only the police, but the Pro Heroes as well. Tsukiko had managed to get her phone number changed for her own safety.
Tsukiko was eventually accepted into U.A High School through the recommendations that her father had set up, hoping she would be a Pro Hero and have a good life. She was placed in Class 1-B.
Quirk
Lunar is an Emitter type. Tsukiko has the ability to create, shape, and manipulate all aspects of the moon, including gravity and energy. She can create lunar beams and aura based on her ability. When the moon is fully out, Tsukiko can absorb the energy from it just by moonbathing. Her quirk is a lot stronger at night time.
Tsukiko has two disadvantages towards her quirk. One being daytime, since her ability will not be as powerful during the day and will be a major issue for her. Another disadvantage is depending on the lunar cycle. When it's a new moon, her quirk will be weaker and harder for her to manipulate in combat.
Blood Moon:While the Lunar Eclipse is a rare occurrence, the phenomenon affects her quirk heavily. Tsukiko's ability would go stronger, but however, it will be impossible for her to control her quirk and more importantly, her emotions.
Lunar Phase:The Lunar Phase is connected towards Tsukiko's quirk. The Lunar Phase is the shape of the sunlit portion of the moon as viewed from Earth. During the month, the moon goes through the changes.
New Moon:During the new moon, Tsukiko's quirk is weaker. She will not be able to manipulate her quirk during this phase, since there are hardly any sunlit portion on the moon.
Crescent:Also called Waxing when there's more of the moon and Waning when there's less of the moon. During the Waxing Crescent, Tsukiko will be gaining energy from the moon, but only by 39%. When the Waning Crescent is present, she will be getting less.
Gibbous:Also known as the First Quarter when it's near full moon and Third Quarter when it's near the new moon. Tsukiko will gain more energy from the first quarter moon by 50%. However, when it's the third quarter, she will be getting less.
Full Moon:During the full moon phase, Tsukiko's quirk gets much stronger than ever by 100%. She is able to draw much more energy from the moon to release powerful blasts.

Katsuki Bakugou
[ Boyfriend ]
Their personalities are opposite to each other. Tsukiko is sweet and outgoing, while Katsuki is hot-headed and rude. Despite protests from some people, mainly her brother Katashi, had told her not to fall for Katsuki, Tsukiko was already in love with him. After his capture from LOV, Tsukiko had cried for him and yearned for him to be rescued. After the rescue mission and the defeat of All for One, Tsukiko was glad that Katsuki was okay and had rushed to him, prompting to kiss him on the lips. Katsuki was surprised at first, but grew to fall for her as well by grabbing her on the butt, calling her "Moonbutt" affectionately, with Tsukiko calling him "Snapdragon" in return. Both Katsuki and Tsukiko developed a strong relationship and supported each other through thick and thin. When together, they are known as "Sweet and Vicious" duo.
Izuku Midoriya
[ Mutual Friends ]
Tsukiko and Izuku developed a good friendship. While Katsuki was rather harsh towards Izuku, Tsukiko shows much kindness to him and enjoys his bright personality when it comes to having knowledge on heroes and their quirks. Tsukiko would often tease him by calling him "Freckles" because of his freckles on his face, which she found rather cute. She is very supportive of Izuku developing a crush on his classmate Ochaco Uraraka, who is known to like him back.
Ochaco Uraraka

She has a habit of either pinching or poking Ochaco's cheeks, because she found them "cute" and "puffy". Despite not being in the same class together, Tsukiko and Ochaco developed a greater bond and see each other as "sisters". Tsukiko is also fully aware that Ochaco has a crush on Izuku and supported her in many aspects. When together, they are known as the "Gravity Sisters".

Neito Monoma
[ Frenemies ]
Despite being nice to everyone, Tsukiko shows her dislike towards her classmate Neito Monoma. She found his unhealthy obsession towards Class 1-A to be very annoying and rather obnoxious. Neito, in return, would poke fun at her for liking Katsuki and would make up false rumors about him being a "war criminal", which prompted him to get slapped in the face. Despite sharing an antagonistic relationship to each other, Tsukiko does care for him in a way like their other classmates do. When Tsukiko was highly upset about Katsuki's capture from LOV, Neito would console her instead of mocking her, wanting to be sure that she was okay emotionally. In some occasions, they help each other and come up with strategies together. Tsukiko does respect Neito's leadership skills.
