This monster is rather bulky, though nothing is able to be discerned from under its black matted fur. This fur is especially fluffed up near the base of the creature’s neck. From the neck sprouts the skeleton of a snake vertebrae, though much larger than the average snake. The ribs of the snake skeleton can expand outwards or clamp inwards. If looking directly at the front of the monster, one could see where the neck bones meet the rest of the spine, and it is revealed that the inside of the monster’s body is more akin to a black hole, empty and snuffing out all light that comes near the interior of the beast.

Atop of this snake-like bone neck is the chipped skull of a canine creature. The inside of the skull cannot be seen, rather dark tendrils of loose black matter seen to seep from it in an almost sentient manner. The holes of the eye sockets are mere pits, no sign of if this beast can see with them or not.

On six legs it stands. The front two seem to be that of a more common animal such as a wolf, but with claws much sharper. The very hind legs seem to be that of a steed. The middle pair of limbs are the most peculiar- situated above the front pair and only slightly behind, these limbs almost look like the front aside from the talons that sprout from the fur.

At last, the tail. This feature comes forth from the shaggy black pelt of the beast to separate into four elegant strands with barbs at their end. When threatened, the beast will curl these tails together and stiffen the ends, almost like imitating a four-clawed beast. Please feel free to put your own spin on the appearance of the barb!
