Backstory: Quartz was born to Queen Morning Dove of the SkyWings. She was the first daughter of many, having many pure blood brothers and sisters. Her mother despises her above all other dragons in the kingdom due to her being the spitting image of her father and having many RainWing traits, which made many dragons see her as weak and stupid. She has no fire or ice. She doesn't have large wings or harder scales either. She's essentially powerless due to her mixed blood, and it makes everyone treat her like she's stupid and worthless: the first daughter of the queen but such a disappointment.
She stays away from most dragons, due to them hating her because she looks strange and weird. This means she has no friends. Instead of spending her time lazing around, she spends most of her days with the SkyWing soldiers, training. When she was four, her mother laughed her out of a royal dinner, and she ended up flying to the training area. A very old SkyWIng, so old she was almost gray, stepped up to Quartz, who was sitting in the sand in the practice grounds, and told her to get up. The SkyWing didn't speak, instead she showed Quartz different methods for claw swipes. Quartz returned to the training grounds every single evening and learned different battle methods. Eventually she learned the dragon's name was Rubellite. She presumed the dragon was an old general. The two never spoke much except for a few hellos and goodbyes, or any words of correction, but Quartz got more out of her nightly training that she ever did with another dragon.
She spends every day in her mother's large shadow, but it's better that way. She plans to steal the throne from Dove as soon as her mother grows complacent. She's waiting for Dove to dispatch another few of her sisters, so when she eventually is the one to end her mother's life, she can see the look of pure confusion on her face.

Weaknesses: Physical- small wings, no fire, no ice, no chameleon scales, no hard scales
Mental- severely emotionally stunted because she has no friends and no idea how to talk to people because they always treat her badly or dismiss her, prone to threatening dragons to get her way, completely unprepared to be queen (she has no political knowledge, and has no practice with delegation, trade discussions, or generally running a kingdom)
