Iowa

Iowa was born into a country family; a mom, Molly, from the city adapting to the country style and a country dad, Bale. Iowa's mom's owner had just moved in with her dad's owner after getting happily married. When her mom became pregnant, it was no surprize to their owners. In fact, they were rejoiced when she became pregnant, as puppies were needed on their farm. Purebred Labradors could also sell for top-dollar, so they decided on only keeping one.

Molly gave birth to four, wonderdul puppies. Rider, Boots, ans Pardon all found loving homes with country folks in the nearby area while Iowa was chosen to stay with her parents. The four spent good times together in their first two months; play fighting, snuggling, causing mischief about the farm, so it was hard letting them all go. Iowa had no one to play with until she discovered all of the other farm animals. Iowa became fast friends with all of the farm animals and never had time to stop running.

Iowa soon learned what chores were, how to do them, and when to do them. To most people and dogs, they're boring, but to her, they were exciting. That meant she had all the time in the world to spend at her favorite place in the world. Iowa learned how to herd straying cows, keep the eagles away from the chicks, and help count the sheep. Iowa's favorite thing to do was to spend time with the chicks, they were just so small and fragile that she just couldn't help but snuggle them. Her least favorite chore was helping with the goats, they didn't seem to like her much.
