Personality

Cherry is very sweet and bubbly, though her energy isn't as high as one might think! She speaks in a soft voice and mostly giggles at what others say, not being one to talk much. She's very friendly and is always willing to befriend a quiet, shy kid, or even a loud boisterous kid, wanting to be on good terms with everyone around her.

She has a bit of separation anxiety and doesn't like to be left alone, which contributes to her extroverted nature - other people are reassuring! She misses her brother dearly and some days is a bit down, though it can be hard to tell. She often forgets what she was saying mid-sentence and tends to space out quite a bit, like she isn't all there. She can also be a bit selfish and possessive, not wanting to share things that are hers.

backstory

In order to help make ends meet, Cherry and her brother, Shade's father had to turn to some particularly unsavory methods, including going to the local loan shark for cash. Once he fell behind on payments, drastic measures were taken - Cherry and Shade were taken hostage, and once it was clear he couldn't pay, he was murdered in front of them. Inconsolable, the two broke free, murdering as many as they could manage before they were knocked out.

Cherry repressed the memories of the incident - regressing to a childlike state to cope with the trauma. She's capable of snapping into a bloodlust state, but for the most part, she's usually a cheery, bubbly girl.

at the academy

Cherry quickly befriended the mysterious and seductive Roxxanne, falling into her orbit as the two were both very social and Cherry is a good henchman if she needs to be, liking to go along with Roxxanne's plots. While she's not fond of making enemies, she does her best to make it up to the people Roxxanne crosses.

Shortly after her and Roxxanne started dating, they befriended the new, equally as fun Ashes and the trio became inseparable. Too bad she's straight! Roxxy and Cherry both love her so much~
