| History | - HillClanner - Got together with a clanmate named Snake-eyes, who had previously been seeing a SurfClanner named Hollythorn in secret. Hollythorn had gotten pregnant, and he abandoned her and only got with Basiltuft to affirm his clan loyalty to himself. His littermate Shadecreek had meanwhile left for her mate in SurfClan, and he told Basiltuft he didn't want to have kits right away because he was upset over her. - She found out about his and Hollythorn's children when his daughter Sumacspots betrayed SurfClan and fled to HillClan to connect with her father. The leader accepted her, but Snake-eyes didn't. Basiltuft was livid that he would have kits with another she-cat and not her, but was more envious of Hollythorn than anything. Snake-eyes said all he could to placate her and disown Sumacspots, who spitefully kept interacting with him and sabotaging their relationship. - The clans were destroyed and they boated to an island where there were more clans. - Basiltuft and Snake-eyes joined RainClan to avoid his children. - Once they settled in, he had no more excuses and they started trying for kits. - Hollythorn had a litter with a new mate before Basiltuft could, reigniting her envy. | |
