Thea Efrem

A rare subspecies of Vehema that lives far underground. HAving lost their sight to the darkness long ago they use their electrical powers as a sort of sonar to navigate the dreary tunnels underneath the hostile world above. Rarely traveling in groups of more then 3-4 they are hardy diggers with just their hands.

However in their only 'city' of about 100 Talpa Vehema, they raise burrowing animals and attempt to farm hardy underground vegetables. This are is a safe haven that most tunnels connect to and is a well guarded secret.

Talpa Have longer ears then Feral or Dormant Vehema as they use them to help detect their surroundings as a sort of antenna. Along with this they are touchier then most as they spend much of the day cleaning themselves and whoever is around to help rid them of knotted fur, bugs, o other detritus that could get stuck within their coats.

In all they are fairly strong in terms of their electrical powers and can keep most dangers away. But if something gets close their only form of self defense is to grab and shock something until it stops moving. If something is immune to said powers, or has a long enough reach that they cannot fight it. They will attempt to flee as fast as possible lest they fall prey to whatever lives beneath the hostile world they call home.
