a larger-than-average fox who is referred to by the rabbits as "Big Red", his real name is unknown, and likely to remain that way- though he does have a tendency to take on many aliases
Unlike other foxes, Big Red does not ambush his prey; instead, he disguises his scent and hides where rabbits cannot see him, relying on his knowledge of lapine and mimicry to lure them to him.
because of this, some consider him to be cunning enough that even El-ahrairah would fall for his tricks
