"Edith is a batpony who has always been talented in the realm of dark magic, she is specifically good with hexes and curses. She draws her magic from nature, sucking the life right out of flowers and trees only leaving behind their dry dead husks to sit and rot. The very image of these dead trees are stained on her limbs, the more she steals life from nature the more the trees husks appear on her coat (a side effect of her dark magic). Edith hopes to become more powerful and move on to sucking the life from higher life forms, a truly sinister intention."
