bud is a man consumed by nostalgia. from vast collections of old toys from his youth, to vast knowledge of pop culture around the time of his childhood, his time as a child has a strong and constant impact on his time as an adult. he's a relatively quiet man around others at first, but getting him started has the likelihood of getting him very talkative and sometimes loud. he's jolly in a subdued way. he holds a lot of negative feelings towards himself, and he has a hard time internalizing a positive worldview instead of his cynical, upset one.
