Benevolent Bane aka Barney

Sightings of Benevolent Bane are dated from current time to 200 years ago; around the time the saltwater breed is considered to have been born. Though Benevolent Bane sports the classic saltie body build (square head and muscular, toned body) and thrives in salt water, it doesn’t have the typical aggressive saltwater class temperament.

Benevolent Bane has a friendly and joyful personality, and frequently tries to befriend anyone who doesn’t run away from it. As good natured as (affectionately nicknamed) Barney is, nobody should forget how toxic this leech is and how dangerous it can be. Any attempts to capture or subdue it have failed and ended in tenths of casualties each time.
