Ollie grew up with troubled parents and was in and out of foster care. Her younger and more demure sister refused to be fostered without her, yet her bad attitude led to them constantly being sent back to the group home. She smokes cigarettes when she thinks she can get away with it.
When brought into the American mew project, Ollie initially tried to weasel out of it. When she saw that her gullible teammates helped her get away with things such as sneaking out of the group home and using her powers for personal gain, she decided to join up with them. She found the work irritating and put up with it simply because she thought she could get something out of it.
After months on the team, Ollie becomes disillusioned with fighting to save a world she's never loved. She falls out with the group and runs away, hoping without her that her sister will be able to lead a better life.
