Profile
Niah Milonas
guardian
A teenage girl who is suddenly tasked with the safety of her planet and humanity itself. She's not too worried about it.
Personality
Niah is a spunky, outgoing, and often abrasive young woman. She is the driving force behind her friend group, getting them in and out of trouble throughout their childhood. While she has a strong sense of duty, she's still not sold on the idea of being a magical warrior, and tends to slack on these responsibilities in favor of things she enjoys more.
Background
She is from a long line of magical protectors known as Guardians. Her grandmother was the last Guardian before a time of peace fell upon the world, and Guardians were no longer needed. Niah's mother and Niah herself were raised completely unaware of the nature of Guardians, so when a great evil reappeared unexpectedly, Niah was thrust unwittingly into a completely different way of life.

Summary
This character holds a very very special place inside my heart - she is one of my oldest OCs, having been created in the early 2000s. She was originally created as an original magical girl concept that I intended to make into an animated series, or "fanime". While this never happened on account of I was like eleven years old, she's still a very dear creation to me and helped fuel my love for animation.
Her story has gone through a few reworks, but for the most part she's stayed pretty much the same. I made a webcomic of her adventures hopping dimensions post-series back when she was meant to be from a different, Earth-like planet, and for a short time her friend Tyson was turned into a cat-shifting familiar/companion. Now she's gone pretty much back to her roots. Not much of her story is fleshed out, but I'm okay with where she is.
Trivia
- Niah is one of my oldest characters, having been created in the early 2000's. She was equal parts an OC and a persona.
- I did not know Niah was a real name when I picked it. Her last name was originally Miyoki and she was meant to be in an anime.
