A goblin who was raised on the decks of a pirate ship, Locket is an arrogant and acrobatic warrior. Her fighting looks like a dance, equal parts speed, elegance, charm, and danger. She is a flippant and often irritating girl, used to baiting her opponents before going in for the kill, and only few can stomach her nauseating haughtiness.
But, in the end, her charisma and confidence is all a ruse to distract her from her own insecurities. She distracts herself with the adrenaline of adventure, with the rush of playing hero, all to avoid dwelling on how unhappy she is with her true self.

✧ The Positive.
Living on the sunny side of life, Kits is optimistically fearless. Her confidence borders an irritating arrogance, and she is quick to deny her failures. There is a steadfast courage deep within Kits, but it exists solely to make up for her deep-rooted self-loathing. A true master of faking it till she makes it, Kits walks around like she owns the place, and rushes head first into trouble. If she pretends she is so great, perhaps one day she can be. Still, this confidence isn’t entirely fake, as it does stem from her flippant recklessness. She is confident in her capabilities, if not her value as a person.
Still, Kits believes in live and let live, and she’s a rather tolerant whim-follower. Impulsive sometimes to a fault, she enjoys the adventure and experience, she loves things and people. She rarely harbors any extreme ill-intent, and finds life more freeing to treat everyone as a potential ally than an enemy.
Surprising considering Kits’ goblin lineage, they have a charming knack to them. She is rather good at weaving her words together, at getting through to others, and turning the tides of a situation. Her talents lie in convincing, a skilled persuader but terrible liar. Her words are compelling when she encourages others, and her flair for dramatics only lends her to be a better performer.
✧ The Neutral.
Granting situations the gravity they deserve is… not Kits’ strong suit. Avoidant to a terrible fault and loathing vulnerability, Kits portrays a careless demeanour, pretending like nothing affects her and it's all water off her back. Pretending has gotten Kits far, and for the most part, she can act like her problems don’t exist. She can elude her emotions, her problems, the consequences of her actions, if she merely pretends they aren’t happening. She can do that for as long as she wishes, until it comes knocking.
But, despite Kits’ lax and carefree persona, they are extremely theatrical. They add additional flairs to their stories, speak with exuberance, and tend to make things a bigger deal than they are. A part of their charismatic and confident persona, this tends to apply mainly to how they describe their own attributes, often buttering themselves up and speaking of themselves highly. The theatric side is easy to get lost in, and the fantasy is often much more fun than the reality.
Emboldened by their false confidence and their poor impulse-control, Kits is an intrepid sort. As small as she is, she is certainly not timid, and enjoys the thrill of daring encounters. There is nothing as exciting as the dance of battle, and there is no emotional output. In dangerous situations, you can fall back on your wits and weapons, led by your instinct. It’s much easier navigating a battlefield, exposing your form to your enemy, than it is to expose your inner being and vulnerabilities to anybody.
✧ The Negative.
Dramatic and arrogant, Kits’ persona of vanity can be quite irritating to others. They are a loud and boisterous presence, never shrinking themselves down for the sake of others, and the haughty life of a pirate makes them unlikely to be pushed around. They are far more of a leader than a follower, and their proposals and actions can prove her a bit overbearing and suffocating at times.
Alas, Kits isn’t an entirely reliable individual. She has a tendency to focus on his own needs and wants. Sure, she’s usually well-intentioned and doesn’t mean any harm, but she simply forgets to take into account what others may feel, or how her actions can affect others.
Under the surface of this haughty persona, Kits is particularly self-loathing. It isn’t as much of a conscious thing, or a pinpointed effort in her mind, as it is just something that was rooted in her. An orphaned goblin wandering city streets, crawling through the dirt and soot, slinking in shadows, a part of that childhood will always linger with Kits. Not only that, but a youth surrounded by emotional unavailability has made her unable to recognize these traits in herself. Rather than tear herself apart mentally, she throws herself headfirst into her ideologies and persona, letting it whisk her away from her inner struggles and potentially right into the maw of danger.
Locket is an agile, lithe, 3’5, female goblin. Her hair is dark and tousled and split into small braids and plaits, and her lion-like goblin tail flicks behind her. She has sharp, black nails, and adorns her figure with shiny bits and oddities.
Hair & Styling.
— Locket’s hair is dark and tousled, falling down her back when loose. Usually, she keeps her hair in various ponytails or braids, often accessorizing her hair with golden beads and clips. Her hair is thick and fluffs out in places, and she has pieces framing her cheeks.
Eyes.
— Locket’s eyes are wide and owl-like, and golden in color. The eyes themselves are described as almost animalistic, with shifting pupils that expand or contract based on emotion or lighting, and have reflective membranes.
Visage & Body.
— Locket has a small, agile and lithe body, with a slightly feline-esque physique. She stands at 3’5, and weighs 44 lbs. She lacks any distinct musculature, but has a rather dexterous and nimble build. Her goblin ears flop under her hat, but flick and emote with her. Flicking behind her, she has a tail, thin and lion-like with a wisp of fur at the tip. Her feet have a slight digitigrade aspect to them, an odd mix of human and paw-like.
Distinguishing Features.
— Located on Kits’ backside is a large, sprawling tattoo of a winged rapier. She had gotten it relatively shortly after turning 8 (becoming an adult for goblins), and while a secret part of her isn’t 100% on it anymore, she flaunts it as if it's her favorite feature.
— Aside from that, Kits’ frequent piercings are also rather characteristic. With a gold septum ring, plus various earrings and baubles dangling from her drooping ears, the sunlight catches on the metals very easily.
DEMEANOR & PRESENTATION.
— Kits carries herself with a nonchalant and flippant air, moving loose and freely. She maintains her characteristic smirk, always soft on her face, and presents herself as a cocky devil-may-care individual. Still, there is an eloquent dexterity to her movements, and she is an extremely nimble girl.
