Flickernose

Named Flickerkit for the fire that had ravaged SkyClan’s territory and brought his parents together for the first time, he and his sister Rosekit were born in RiverClan to Newtleap and Snowywish, their mother only having just moved to the clan from SkyClan after discovering she was expecting Newtleap’s kits. From birth, the nursery was crowded, with seven other kits sharing the den with Flickerkit and Rosekit. For Flickerkit, this simply meant more opportunities to make friends - though his best friend, first and foremost, would always be Rosekit, and he spent the vast majority of his time hanging out with her. Now Flickerpaw, the tom has just been apprenticed to Robinflight and is looking forward to his apprenticeship.

Flickerpaw is a natural class clown; outgoing, funny, and unafraid to make himself look a little foolish in the process. Life is like a game to the young tom, and his only goal is to enjoy it to its fullest. He’s rarely found far from whatever the newest, most interesting thing is, and born with an easygoing and relaxed mindset, Flickerpaw is content for his role in life to be that of a follower rather than a leader.

Mother

As one of the most present figures in Flickerpaw’s life so far, he naturally cares deeply for his mother. He’s forever grateful for her unconditional care and devotion, and often tries to include her in his and Rosepaw’s games.

Father

Just like with Snowywish, Flickerpaw has a close bond with his father. His own fun-loving personality meshes well with that of his father’s, and it’s impossible for him not to hold fond feelings for a cat who lets Rosepaw and Flickerpaw get away with perhaps too many things.

Sister

Rosepaw is Flickerpaw’s other half, and his very best friend in the world. Flickerpaw would do just about anything for his sister, and in fact does spend much of his time simply following Rosepaw around and doing as she asks of him. Not that Flickerpaw minds this dynamic; he thinks it’s the very best thing in the world.

Aunt

Obviously, Flickerpaw knows of Swanberry. It’s hard not to, given that not too long ago she was RiverClan’s leader. However, Flickerpaw hasn’t had many encounters with the elder, and so doesn’t feel particularly strongly about her as an aunt.
