Urania is a refined Steenee from the kingdom within Hibiscus Grove. There she served as one of many retainers for Queen Tsareena, before meeting the enigmatic and pragmatic Fomantis, Clio. Clio boldly took her hand and dragged her on an adventure through the temple of Tapu Bulu, and the rest was history. It was this partnership that earned Urania her name.
Urania has a noted habit of calling others "dear" or "darling", and speaks with refinement and dignity. She treats manners and civility with the utmost importance, but will not hesitate to smack down any enemy that would dare harm her darling Clio, whom she has grown rather close to. She sees Clio almost like a daughter to her, and has vowed to follow the Fomantis wherever she may decide to roam. Unfortunately for Urania, that means that she will be going everywhere.
What few realize is that Urania was actually the heir to Tsareena's throne back at Hibiscus Grove. She keeps her royal lineage a secret, no one in the outside world knows of it (though the crown patterning on her head should give it away). She seems to have no issues hiding this fact either, and has expressed little desire to return home to the court.
With the importance she places on manners, Urania loathes lapses in politeness and unneeded barbarism. There has only been one incident where she has ever acted coldly towards Clio, and that was when Clio committed regicide against the queen of the Roselia kingdom, Roserade. No one really knows how Urania was able to forgive this as quickly as she did, but her mood did seem to improve the moment the duo found the lost Charmander they were searching for. To a degree, it would seem as if Urania's motherly tendencies win above all else.
Urania currently remains by Clio's side as they explore the archives of Varuna Bay, trying to uncover the mystery of an old journal with missing pages.
