Flygon is a hyper curious researcher from the Star Continent. He specializes in runic studies, focusing his efforts on discovering, cataloging, and detailing the various ruins around the continent. Despite his informal and scatterbrained personality, he is quite intelligent and quite dedicated to his work.
Flygon first got into the study of archaeology when he discovered an old human map in his prior desert home. Despite being incapable of flight at the time, some say he virtually flew into the air with excitement and rushed to his family to chatter nonstop with them about his find and his theories. When he was ready, he left home and began a long journey to uncover as many mysteries as he could.
He has written several books on his research, though he could never name them all or tell you what they detail. He's fairly easily distracted, and very prone to living in the moment. Part of the reason his journey is taking so long is due to the fact that he attempts to follow every mildly interesting path he sees and deviates away from his intended goal. He claims this is part of why he never joined an official team, he couldn't possibly get any of the job notice board work done in a reasonable amount of time.
His current research has taken him to Rociada Town, where alongside The Phantoms (a team composed of Valen the Type:Null and Tori the Torchic), he is investigating the temple of Tapu Lele. True to form, however, this took longer than expected as the trio took time to assist an orphaned child by getting medicine for her very sick sister.
