Beckett is an artist in the Paldea region who has a special love for grass type pokemon. Though she has never been much of a battler, she likes having her pokemon friends around for companionship and inspiration, even keeping 2 partners that she doesn't use for anything but that. Those 2 partners are Shelter the shiny Chesnaught and Bristle the Smeargle. She will battle if challenged or to defend the honor of someone she thinks is in need of assistance.

She is often described as Plucky and Overly Friendly, sometimes to her detriment as she isn't always the best judge of character. Naive and starry eyed, she is always seeing the best in people and in the mood for new experiances, adventures and friendships.
