Lucien looks very calm and docile. It's very rare to see him upset, if not impossible. He suffers from social anxiety, resulting in him having little social life, and chronic illness called multiple sclerosis due to which he started to struggle with depression. Despite his depression, he's got a more realistic outlook on life, rather than pessimistic. He is very intelligent, however, he's humble about it. Although he loves to share his knowledge, he does it more in a form of random facts rather than trying to impress people. Those who get to meet him closer can get surprised with how chill and nice he is to be around and may find him to be a good company. 

He cares a lot about his family. Kolivangel and Marielle are his parents, while Grace is his older half-sister.
His significant other is Mordecai, however, later in his life he breaks up with him and meets Arthur.

At first, he was supposed to be a sadistic, chaotic-evil character. That idea didn't stick to his persona for too long.
