Profile
She was in her early teens when her parents died; it was a shock, both of them gone in an instant. Kaede was left on her own with a younger sibling who was only a toddler. She was not capable of raising her sibling on her own, so she made the journey to a small water village where her grandparents lived. Although she felt guilty, when she was old enough to travel on her own, she left her younger sibling with her grandparents. She wanted to travel where the wind took her, loathing the idea of being tied down to one place. As the years passed, she took to painting; she liked the idea of preserving a moment in time at all of the places she traveled. Kaede always returned home to her family with the paintings in tow so that she could share her experiences with them. She hopes to continue seeing more and more beautiful sights and occasionally brings her younger sibling along on her travels now that they’re older.
