sarcastic - intelligent - self-destructive - abrasive - faithless
The resident potion seller of Kalokairi, though it doesn't seem as though he's a native. His customer service leaves something to be desired, but there's no doubt that his potions are the best around. He can often be found downing a few drinks at the local tavern.

03 — Background
Childhood
Aramis was born in a warm desert country - he was raised in an orphanage until the age of 12, when he was apprenticed to a famous alchemist.
Despite his young age, he rose quickly through the ranks of the alchemist's apprentices - he had a natural aptitude for alchemy and potion-making, and worked closely with a senior apprentice named Marcel. Despite growing into a frivolous, playboy teen he was always most passionate about his work and developed feelings for the senior apprentice he hero-worshipped.
His apprenticeship came to an end when - after the outbreak of a deadly plague - Aramis was used by Marcel as the test subject of a strain of the virus that was meant to be turned into a vaccine without his knowledge. Upon introduction to his system the virus mutated into a slower-acting, non-infectious version that is slowly killing him. Upon discovering this, he left his home to try and find a cure for his malady.
Kalokairi
After traveling for several years and failing to find a cure, Aramis eventually lost hope and stopped looking. Using the knowledge he did find and the experience he gained from years of apprenticeship, he settled in Kalokairi and opened up a potion shop under the psuedonym Gilmore.
For now, he's just waiting for the illness to take him.

as an orphan with no records of his parentage, he has no family name. the name Gilmore is self-given, invented to make it harder to track down his past (and harder for his past to catch up with him.)

Originally the two had a more casual arrangement, neither wanting to be tied down. Despite his best efforts Gilmore slowly started to develop feelings for the bard, feelings that are reciprocated but unspoken between the two.

They mostly just harass each other. Cares for her but as one would a very annoying little sister.
