General disposition: Nieva is fun-loving and mischievous. She can be a bit childish at times and pouts when people call her out on it. She is generally kind to people, however if she dislikes someone she will not hesitate to let them know, and will taunt that person whenever she is near them. This makes her appear a little bit obnoxious to some people. Nieva has some trouble keeping concentration on things and tends to rely on others/friends to keep her focused. This can be troublesome in battle as well. She can fight well enough on her own but after a while may require someone to give her direction. That being said, she is excellent in team fights no matter who she is with. She listens well and is extra observant with what she can hear. Nieva is always eager to learn new things and is generally open-minded.


Relationship With Others
Reputation: Generally well-liked amongst everyone, save for a few people she dislikes. Though she is liked, people tend to be a little bit on guard around her in case she’s in a pranking mood, as they might be the victim. Nieva is not mean-spirited though so her pranks are very rarely out of hand. Nieva laughs easily (and appropriately) and can easily create friendly, warm vibes with the people around her. She has relatively high energy, but is good at staying calm or neutral. She is curious about team RWBY but does not approach them. Specifically, she is fascinated and slightly drawn to Weiss as they both share icy or cold motifs/attributes to themselves. She figures Blake is a Faunus and does not understand why she tries to hide it. Other than that, Nieva feels like Blake is too quiet and cold to approach. She is indifferent towards Ruby, and appreciates Yang’s humour.

Out of all her friends, she likes Velvet best because she is very kind, gentle, understanding, and they can both relate to being rabbit Faunus (Nieva also enjoys photography). The others she’d be closest to are Coco and Nora. She is fond of Coco for her love of fashion and confidence. Nora’s high energy brings out her high energy as well.

Nieva was bullied as a child for being a Faunus. People often tugged at her rabbit ears. She doesn’t hate humans but she is quick to dislike them if they cross her. She is generally more forgiving of other Faunus if they cross her.

EXTRA
+ Based off the Japanese fairytale “The First Rabbits” (The basis of the story is about snowfall creating the small, white creatures we call rabbits once the snow is on the ground and formed into a snowball)
+ Her emblem is on each fan/paddle of her weapon
+ Boreas, the first part of her weapon’s name, is named after the Greek God of cold winds and winter. Gale is another word for wind.
+ She typically fights by using her weapon as one big “paddle staff”, creating strong, cold gusts of wind to attack or throw off the opponent/enemy. It can also part in the middle into two smaller “paddle staffs”, wielding one in each hand . There is a button on each side near the middle of the weapon which can fire bullets out of the ends that can attach. The bullets, however, are very limited. The bullets have a small white explosive effect when fired and are typically used as an alternative distraction while fighting.
+ Each paddle/fan is very sturdy and hits hard. This makes her able to deal more damage in close combat. Her ranged combat deals less damage and is typically used for distractions or throwing off the enemy, giving another teammate an opening.
+ Her name is based off the French word for snow, “Niege”. A tundra is a vast, permanently frozen region.
