STORY
History:  Born in Snowbelle, Maddie grew up around a snowy, yet calm climate. Maddie longs to live in Laverre City and meet the gym leader there. She also wonders if it would be good to settle in Lumiose for career purposes, but feels slightly overwhelmed by the busy, city scene.

Main Pokémon Team:
Glaceon ♀ (Ice) - One of Maddie's first Pokémon as an Eevee. Coming from Snowbelle, she was eager to have her own ice Pokémon. Glaceon is often outside of the Pokéball and helps keep Maddie cool in the summer heat (though she needs to rest too, as it can be quite draining). She has very, very strong attacks, but very weak defense in battle. Glaceon is a little bit possessive of Maddie and gets a little jealous when she sees other Pokémon bonding with her
Gothitelle ♀ (Psychic) - Maddie absolutely fell in love with little Gothita when she first saw it. Gothitelle poses like Maddie's best Pokémon friend and almost "older sister" or "motherly" figure. She is quite protective of Maddie and always makes sure she doesn't have anything amiss with her appearance in public. Gothitelle also has a "guilty pleasure" for Poképuffs. She tries to act refined but when given a Poképuff she becomes an excited, beaming child. Gothita was one of Maddie's very first Pokemon companions.
Lopunny ♀ (Normal) - Despite being a normal type, Lopunny has some strong fighting-type moves. Maddie has always loved and felt drawn to bunnies, so she caught a Buneary and the rest was history. Lopunny looks cute and sweet but will kick anyone's ass if they mess with Maddie. Like Gothitelle, she is also quite protective. Lopunny will eat all the sour or bitter foods given to Maddie, as she enjoys them
Mismagius ♀ (Ghost) - While communicating with spirits in a forest, a Mismagius appeared before Maddie. It startled Maddie, and as the ghost Pokémon saw this, felt guilty right away and went to comfort her. After she calmed down the Mismagius vanished. Maddie was very intrigued by this experience and went back to the same spot a few more times over a few weeks to do the same thing. The 4th time she went, the Mismagius appeared again, this time from a distance so Maddie could see her coming. Maddie stayed calm and showed it her crystal ball. Mismagius was very fascinated and happy about this, trusting Maddie to be a good companion. Since then decided to stay with Maddie, giving her permission to capture it with a Pokéball. Mismagius didn't worry about feeling lonely anymore
Butterfree ♀ (Flying, Bug) - It didn't take long before Maddie encountered a Caterpie. Always having a love and connection to butterflies, she was intrigued to see what kind of winged creature it would evolve into, so she captured it. She babied the Caterpie until it became a Metapod. As a Metapod they weren't as close, because Metapod became quiet and slept a lot. This changed quite dramatically once it became a Butterfree. Butterfree loves to be fed berries and enjoys nice, sunny days with Maddie. It doesn't really like being in its Pokéball usually

Absol ♀ (Dark) - A Pokémon said to appear before a disaster happens, it helps Maddie with her "future readings" and to feel prepared ahead of time

Bunnelby / Snickers ♂ (Normal) - Maddie's dearest first Pokémon; more of a pet than a battle companion. He's sassy and often hides behind Maddie when meeting new people, however once he gets to know them he is very sociable and playful.
Espeon ♀ (Psychic) - A dear friend to Maddie, Espeon makes an excellent familiar for Maddie's witchy work. Much like a psychic house cat (evolved through high friendship during the day as an Eevee)
(White) Florges ♀ (Fairy) - Attracted to its great beauty and slight trickery in typing (it's fairy but some think it's grass), This Pokémon fills Maddie with comfort, joy, and beauty (given a shiny stone as a Floette)
Aromatisse ♀ (Fairy) - Found to be very fascinating, Maddie never has to worry about smelling bad with this companion around (evolved from Spritzee)
Lunatone (Rock, Psychic) - Drawn to anything related to the moon, Lunatone is a mystic, almost ethereal companion that Maddie loves to have by her side. It helps her decide which tumbled crystals to buy for herself and has an eye for auras and other psychic energies
Flygon ♂ (Dragon, Ground) - Slightly off put by a Vibrava that was gifted to her, after learning its evolution potential, Maddie trained hard to evolve this Pokemon. Flygon helps with transportation through flight, and has very strong attacks in certain battles
Noivern ♂ (Flying, Dragon) - Always having a love for bats, Maddie was more than happy to encounter a Noibat in a cave amongst her journey. Noivern loves to listen to music and helps with transportation through flight. Much like Flygon, he also can be quite good in battle

Alola:

Toucannon ♀ [Shiny] (Normal, Flying) - Upon visiting the Alolan region, Maddie caught a Pikipek and it remained on her team throughout her journey. Despite it's mean glare, Toucannon is playful and loves fruits and other foods. She is happy to heat up anything Maddie needs.

Salazzle / Cinder ♀ (Poison, Fire) - Seeing the stunning appeal of a Salazzle, Maddie made sure to catch a Salandit while in Alola. Cinder is mischievous and coy. She tends to be overconfident in situations where she's countered 

Steenee ♀ (Grass) - Falling in love with the sweet and calming aroma that Bounsweet gave off, Maddie wanted a sweet little companion. Upon learning of its evolutions, she is currently working towards evolving Steenee into Tsareena

Mimikyu ♂ (Ghost, Fairy) - Confused and unsure how to feel about Mimikyu as a species, Maddie soon learned the darkness behind their being and excitedly pursued one. Her Mimikyu is very reliant for reassurance, but in turn warmed up quickly to Maddie and cares very much about her. A bit "tsundere"-like around strangers with Maddie, but is a big suck one-on-one
