WIP LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW FRIEND

"Dusa would be part of my Fantasy Apocalypse scenario. In short, this roleplay/story is about a world that lost to the classic "Big Bad" and is now overrun by monsters and evil. Their heros have died and the world's mana is poisoned by evil, making it difficult for a magical savior to be born. Dusa is part of the main character group in the NaNoWriMo version I'm writing. The name of this character was originally Dust, but I may switch to Dusa because it sounds cute. She is actually a he, who has taken to crossdressing as a way to avoid this society's pressures on boys: A boy is expected to be a strong warrior who fights monsters, but Dusa is frail, sickly, and cannot realistically expect to achive that. He is therefore training to be a cleric, which is stereotypically a girl's job. In order to avoid harrassment, he crossdresses at school and avoids questions about his gender all together.

Personality-wise, Dusa is soft spoken out of necessity. He is actually quick tempered and gets very annoyed about the stereotypes around him. He has a strong sense of justice and strong desire to help the crumbling society he lives in, which is why he cannot understand why he is harrassed for doing what he's best at. Dusa gets along very well to Menthia because they are both bookworms who work incredibly hard. Hane and him do not get along, since Hane sees Dusa's interest in healing as a way of running from the battlefield."
