Biography

Kitepaw is a rather small, skinny medium-furred cream and brown she-cat. The brown parts on her pelt is slightly marbled, some parts darker and some parts lighter. Her eyes are a round, bright emerald green that most would consider beautiful. Kitepaw is one curious, determined fledgeling. She's always up to help, despite not being the most out-going. She wants to prove to her faction that she isn't just a liability: she's something much more. She's a friend. She's family. She's sweet and kind and interesting. She's awesome. She works hard. She's strong. She's exciting.

History

Kitepaw had a rather ordinary childhood. As a kit, Kitepaw was always a little bit smaller than the rest. Always a bit softer. Her brother? Reignitedkit had always been bigger, and stronger, and was always favored by their parents. But he was always there for Kitepaw, teaching her to appear bigger than she really was. Because the only way to succeed in this world was to lie.

As she became a magpie apprentice, and was apprenticed to a rather odd yet strict tomcat. His name was Etherealblaze. To most, he seemed like a pretty well-meaning and mature cat, but to Kitepaw? Absolute torture. Etherealblaze, though a trusted young cat, was always extremely hard on her, often pushing her to the breaking point and teaching her how to break the rules without getting caught. Kitepaw knew this was wrong. But no matter what, there was no way to get him to listen, right?

Then one day, one very ordinary seeming day, it felt as if she had been cursed. While chasing a small, skinny piece of prey- yes, real, live prey- Kitepaw heard something snap just over her. The next second, she was on the ground, caterwauling in pain. Etherealblaze carried her back to the camp and straight to the healers. At the start, she had thought the tom was someone she should stay away from. But now, despite her clearly avoiding him other then the occasional murmur of agreement during training, he had helped her. Really helped her. Luckily, she had only injured one of her hind legs. If she had been one step further back- just one little breath behind her- she could have gotten hit on her back and paralyzed, or worse, killed.

One second, he was there. The next, he was gone. As if he'd melted into the shadows, disappearing into thin air as if he had never existed when no one was watching. Not even Etherealblaze's family seemed to notice, going on with their day as per usual. Kitepaw tried to take her mind off it. If no one else cared, she shouldn't either, right? She was apprenticed to another magpie warrior, this time named Pinehound. Currently, her story is yet to be told, for now only a tale of luck and fear.
