Everything was pitch black darkness when Nullitatis first awoke. They knew nothing of before, because there was nothing before. Anything and everything was centered down to them, and no matter how far they moved- were they even moving? They couldn't tell, truly, with the vast nothingness around them- they found nothing and no one in the void. At first there was no issue with this. It was all they knew, being alone with nothing around and nothing to do. Yet something nagged at them, a need to do something. To create. So eventually, they gave in to that need, and in the blink of their eye, a universe was born.

It was all instinct and no finese at first, but perhaps it was the best attempt at making a universe they had ever done. No concious thought went into the rapid expansion of energy into a fledging universe, and before they knew it they were surrounded by dazzling arrays of gasses, shimmering in all manner of colour and heat as they swirled and danced. Null was in awe of the blossoming universe and simply swam around in the shifting expanse for eons, watching as gasses mixed and changed and coallesed into matter.

To watch a universe form is not something quite so simple as to watch though, not truly. Though Null was fully formed, fully in control of their being and their powers, they were still inexperienced and young in a way. How were they to know that floating through a nebula could completely shift how a whole part of the universe would form? How could they possibly know, until it was too late, that tapping a newly formed planet, even just barely with one ginormous claw, would knock it out of orbit just enough that they would have to watch it spin and crash into another burgeoning planet?

It was little mistakes like these that cause great changes in the way the universe would form, though Null had little knowledge of how it was changing really. Aside from the imedeate issues they could see, Null rarely noticed any changes they caused, and went on blissfully ignorant to the potentially disasturous changes they caused in the way the universe was forming.
