A very down to earth and happy young man, Fern wouldn't change his farming lifestyle for anything. Since his possession he is able to truly connect to nature in a way he was unable to when human, and has found that he wouldn't trade it for anything. Animals respond to him much better and their produce became higher quality. Due to that, he counts his possession as a blessing; despite the fact his family is still a bit uncomfortable around him. They love him, but they are still coming around to the new him, they had a harder time accepting that he was gay (They are fine with it now). However, a strong loving family like theirs own grows stronger when they face obstacles together.
