Toad was born into a tumultuous tribe that eventually disbanded in his youth due to interranking strife and conflict. Without a tribe to call his own, Toad was on his own for the majority of his young life. It was here he learned how to Fight and Hunt and protect himself before he eventually banded together with other Outcasts and found a niche plot of unclaimed Territory to call his own.
He actively searches for Lost or Outcast Cats to offer shelter to and has, on more than one occasion, been played for his kindness.

What's In a Name?: Toad earned his name for his croaking voice and his love of wallowing in mud. His stout nature and flat head didn't help, either.
Always an Uncle, Never a Dad: It's not secret that Toad loves Kittens! Every part of them, from raising to caring for, he enjoys the little bundles of claws and fangs to bits. He's never sired his own litter, however.
Written In His Skin: Toad has a number of thick, hairless scars on his body from his time as a Solo Outcast. While he doesn't like to talk about them much, once he gets started on discussing them it's almost impossible to get him to stop. His stories change slightly depending on who he's telling them to.
Gone Fishin': Because he doesn't avoid Water or Mud, Toad has gotten extremely good at fishing. One time, he caught a Catfish 3x his own size (or so he says).
A Story for Everything: Toad is one of those Fatherly Types who has a Lesson to teach about anything and everything. While the validity of how true some of them are is questionable, nobody can deny that Toad spins a vivid and imaginative story.
Hopeless Romantic: Toad is Bisexual but has never had a romantic partner. Whether that's simply because of timing, or because of his large and imposing frame, or because he's simply never put in enough effort is hard to tell. One thing's for certain: He sure does think the sound of settling down with a Mate sounds lovely.
