Zale is a subset of Nightfury that lives almost exclusively in oceans! They are very fast swimmers and have adapted to be able to go to very deep depth. As they go deeper their pupils shrink into slits looking similar to cuttle fish eyes.
His green markings are bioluminescent. Usually used to draw prey or for mating rituals.
He is highly intelligent (as is his whole species) often out smarting sailors or hunters.
This species often does not have human companions as it prefers the depths of the ocean. Its often considered good luck to see one of Zales species as they are so rare on the surface.
