Adriel can come across as stubborn, almost blunt, even. He does not have very good social skills as a lack of growing up without being socialized. Because of this, they would rather dig their head into a book, studying the art of divination and history, reading up on anything that he could potentially tap their magic into. He cares not for making friends, or keeping close relationships, as it is something that he was not raised to morally care for, unfortunately. This, however, does not mean he does not have a semblance for caring for others, though.
He is an intelligent being, and likes to surround himself with other likeminded individuals. They do not care for others who seem to dedicate their lives to goofing off, partying, or keeping a healthy work-life balance. If invited to a reunion, he will hastily excuse himself to turn to any tasks that he has at hand, pro tip: he rarely has any.
Adriel grew up a very lonely child. Not because their parents forbade it or anything of the sort, but because they themselves found it meaningless to form any meaningful friendships or relationships of their own for a proper support system. Adriel went to a very prestegious school for children, and was admitted into a higher academy once out of grade school to support his endeavors of higher studies.
Once he grew up and graduated school, he dedicated himself to majoring in astrology, history, and magical/occult sciences. They have always been enamored with the supernatural, and unreal occurences, and have always wanted to take a deeper dive into the topic, thus, revolved his studies around the subjects.
However, there was a time, and a place where much of his life changed. Whether it was for better or for worse he would never be able to tell. Though they describe it as a life-altering event, especially being irreversable. One night, a wild humanoid Vamptini had offered Adriel a drink in efforts to bond with him, but with the sly motivation of turning them into a Vamptini as well. With the drink indulged by Adriel, he had been turned into a domestic Vamptini. Instead of being filled with anger and frustration, this only made him more curious about the species themselves, and shifted his studies into learning about the history of the Vamptinis, and how their magic worked.
