MOTHER OF THE DEEP, THIRD SCION OF VOID TERMINA
Another of Void Termina’s children, Toithulus shares the Master’s affinity for manipulation. she serves as a protective force, defending all who elect to become her children with motherly ferocity.
Toithulus is capable of producing vast numbers of lesser spawn, many of which establish a foothold as mortal species on various planets. She is also capable of flawlessly mimicking or combining mortal lifeforms, often producing hybrid species and scattering them across the galaxy, or simply giving life and mind to species that didn’t have it yet. Her presence can be credited for the uplifting of various Earth species to sapience.
Toithulus spends the vast majority of her time fast asleep at the bottom of Aquarian oceans. Her summoning rituals always require a pool of water large enough for her to poke her head through, but other than that they are the easiest and safest rituals known to summon a creature of the void.
In Aquarian mythology, she is worshipped as a fertility goddess. She is referenced as mother of monsters akin to the human myths of Echidna and Tiamat, though she takes on a much more positive role in the eyes of Aquarian natives. Her presence alone causes crops to flourish and illnesses to fade.
