I havent made a true Ref of Balo, but he's a bit muscly in body type.

One of the 4 vampire rulers, Balo rules the Wolf Clan, a group of vampires that have been cursed and blessed by the mark of the wolf, these vamps have the gift of shapeshifting and rage, they tend to be fierce reckless and unpredictable, Balo as there current ruler is supposed to keep them in check but he is known to be an awful leader and because of him, this clan is left unchecked and is filled with anarchy, it has been diminished to become the smallest of the four clans, Balo doesnt care though, as he prefers to take care of himself than his clan. If he could he would just drop the leader rank, but alas he was chosen by a higher power to lead them, for whatever mysterious reason they choose him, he cannot just go against them.

Balo used to be a human, he lived in a small village with his brother Xavier and their father and mother, Balo had always been the more adventurous type but he was kindhearted, even if somewhat rough around the edges, when Xavier went missing from the village he was heart broken, as he and his brother always had a strong bond before the incident, when the vampire lord decided to take Xavier, they decided his brother Balo would be a good add to there ranks as well, and so they took him away too later on, he got to meet his brother again but he quickly noticed the change in him, he was a vampire now, a ruler at that, Xavier did not want him to live this life, as he knew too well the consecuences of it, but Balo nor Xavier had any choice or say in this... when Balo was turned, his hunger was strong, stronger than Xaviers and stronger than any of the Wolf clan had ever been, the vampire lords thought itd be a good idea to let him go and wreck havoc on his old village, to build him up into a cold killing machine, Balo tried to resist the urge but it was too strong, he devoured almost every villager in his hunger for blood, when it was all done he realized what he had done and cried, cursing that day even till this day, at first he didnt forgive his brother for not stopping him, and Xavier couldnt say anything to defend himself, it was simply choosen by a higher power that they could not control... In time Balo understood this and forgave his brother, Balo however was never the same from that day forward, his hunger still present although not as strong, he became a horrible person who could not easily resist the urge to hurt and the urge to drink the blood of those beneth him, he is now known as Balo the Sadist.
He has a habit of taking in slaves and torturing them, both in painful and sexual ways, until they ultimately either escape or die, his latest slave is a young vampire who seems less fragile then the other humanoid slaves he had in the past (Claud is his ship, who belongs to http://sugaryxjester.deviantart.com/ ). 

Balo is what the others of his kind call an ancient, he has been around for decades now, gaining strength with age, he is a force to be reckoned with. The mark on his face is the mark all of his familiar clan have (Xavier, Zeratu and Ferrel are of the same clan, but Xavier and Balo are familiars/brothers and each has a side ruling, Balo being ruler of the shapeshifters and Xavier of the shadow lurkers) 
His usual personality is rude and daring (daring as in he likes to peck at others weaknesses and pick fights often) He got the scar he has above his nose by doing this to Xavier who, despite his looks and usual peaceful behavior, did not take likely his words.
