Despite his monstrous apperance Sin is a most gentle soul, he is very caring and completely harmless. When he and his twin; Virtue are introduced everyone assumes he is Sin, when in fact it's reversed. Despite being treated so horribly he loves the world and appreciates it for both its beauty and cruelty.
