Triak

Triak was found at a very young age in the woods by a elderly dragonborn alchemist.   The old one did the best they could raising they tiny tiefling baby, but sadly passed away at when they were only about age 10.  Triak learned to fend for themself, using the small garden at the lone cabin in the woods to make stew, and continue their fathers research.   

Due to only having research books, and their father not prioritizing it, Triak grew up with no knowledge of social graces, gender, or many other things.  All they had was research, potions, and magic learning.  When they reached their late teens, they accidentally blew up the cottage with one of their experiments.   Taking it all in stride, they picked up what they could salvage, and headed into town.  

In the town they met a young sorcerer named Rianel.  Learning he specialized in fire magic, Triak instantly insisted he set them on fire.  That was the best way to see how powerful those spells could be after all.   Taken aback poor Rainel refused, but tried to help this strange tiefling.  Together they formed a friendship, much to the distress of Rainel.

Triak wears far to many robes.  as when one gets a hole, they just add another.  The rest of the robe is fine after all, and still has pockets to hold things in.  Their hair is long, messy and has singed spots on some tips.  It is a miracle they are alive, as they feel true magic study comes from FEELING the spells.  Of course, you have to see if different spell casters cast the same spell differently!

Due to their upbringing they have no social graces, no understanding of personal space, and no modesty.  They are not above stripping in public, if they need to change clothes.  They also have no concept of gender roles, and their own gender is, in their own words, "gender? what is that?"
