Paz Goodman--often known by their newfound "supervillain" name of Catastro--is passionate about science, magic, other planes of existence, and tampering with forces that should never be touched. They're self-centered, self-righteous, and sassy with little regard for the law. But despite how they come across, Paz is not evil and does not have any intentions to harm people.
Paz and their partner, Reloj, had been very close and worked together through some of the strangest and most dangerous scientific endeavors. Their work even once caused them to encounter a monstrous Chaos being which imbued them both with the essence of Chaos itself, granting strange powers and inexplicable effects on the world around them.
Paz and Reloj were a nearly inseparable pair, until otherworldly beings tore Reloj's soul from his body and stole it away to a nightmarish realm. Paz was left alone with the unconscious body of their friend, and Reloj's body is starting to change into a strange crystalline substance.
Paz took on the role of a "supervillain" in order to obtain the supplies needed to venture into the realm Reloj's soul is being kept. Their allegiances with heroes or villains change as they please if it will help further this goal, losing them the trust of all sides of the law. Paz doesn't care, though. They just want their friend back... if that's even possible.
