About

Laurent (Law-Ranh) is a french professor teaching in a famous university in Paris.
He's a nice, charming guy, the type who's always in a good mood. He gets along with almost everyone, and is also liked by his students. He can be really tacky and sassy sometimes, and makes lots of dad jokes despite not being a dad.
He's nice and mild mannered, but is really reclusive and secret and is prone to nostalgia. He also hides that he is gay, both to himself and to his coworkers.
His favorite hobby is learning about ancient Rome history, he also enjoys watching silly TV games and reading french comics.
Over time, Laurent falls in love with his colleague and best friend Phil, and feels sorry about it at first because he thinks that's one-sided. But he'll discover later on that... it is not...

Relationship with Virginie

Laurent and Virginie always had a peaceful and pleasant relationship. Laurent is calm and composed, and will listen to people without judgement, a quality that Virginie admires. They're both funny and light hearted people on the surface, which leads to them bonding over jokes and good times. Virginie doesn't really see the problem with his "ass-kisser" side which leaves them in a good place emotionally. They're good friends.

Relationship with Phil

Phil and Laurent are colleagues at work, and good friends if not best friends. They hang around together a lot, and are a funny duo because they do not seem to have much in common. However, they both talk their issues thru together and know what's wrong with the other at any time. Phil is a big loner, and having Laurent by his side is a source of comfort, but he would never really admit it. Phil is very sarcastic and jugmental by nature, and they're often seen arguing about their views of the world. Laurent falls in love with Phil over time, to his dismay, but after many shenanigans they finally find peace... Together. 

Relationship with Manuela

Laurent and Manuela met very late in this story, once both started dating their same gender friend. The two have a surprisingly good relationship. Laurent is a refined individual, something that Manuela has a lot of respect for. They discuss vogue and news together, and while Laurent is a lot less informed on the subject he's a good listener and likes Manuela's endeavors. They trust each other.
