Elefant

 Guys look at my comfort character, she's the most ill-tempered unit from an oppressive terrible communist Germany-inspired universe. Yet, she is full of love <3. Yes I know she's stupid for a Signalis character keep scrolling.

Extremely fond of her Starlings and fairly maternal towards them. Or maybe like a grandmother who wants to be a strict hardass but is so lonely (and fond of) her Stars that she easily caves. Loves reading, standard Storch behavior. She procures books with her Stars' interests in mind and allows them to read. She is not allowed to do this, but no one, let alone the nation, truly cares for her, so why care back? She's doing her job, her cadre is doing their job, if they actually cared, they'd have killed her already.

Didn't want a name, but her Stars assigned her one anyways. She eventually accepted it and grew fond of it. Didn't want to be named after modern weaponry, so her Stars reasoned that an elephant is an exceptionally powerful animal like her, and in the deep past, a mount used in war (fitting her requests and the Star theme well enough). She does genuinely love the animal too.

Does the bulk of her work in a beautifully decorated office.

Design for when I get to her:

• She is old and sunbleached. A little wrinkly. Storches are expected to live twice as long as most other units.
• Red/yellow/black/white. Heavily Saddle-billed Stork inspired.
• Larger than average bandaid marking on her nose seam thing.
• Very pale eyes, look nearly white instead of blue. 
• Much more muscular and powerful looking than her stars.
• Ganesha charm.

Relationships:

Lockheed, Schwarzvogel, Korvette, Panzer (not the Sierpenski one I just don't feel like researching tanks): this is her stupid little cadre. Look at these things. She spoons all 4 of them to sleep every night. Get loved idiots.

Two other Storches from the largest nearby facility: the only contact she has with her own kind. She's thankful they're friendly and not a testament to the unit's infamy. They chatter about Storch stuff while her Stars enrich themselves with sports or some shit.

There's also a gestalt Security-technician-controller at a neighboring tower, she's a bore to Elefant. Elefant knows the neighboring tower's Stars fairly well, she likes them. She does not interact frequently with the tower's like 4 service replikas, they keep to themselves, but they're friendly enough.
