Kai is a wasteland scavenger. He scours the wastelands for anything he can take back to Xinith to sell. He usually finds bones and creatures for meat along with the occasional relic. Kai and his gang stumbled across the ancient forest after an exceptionally long trek looking for water. Mistaking Ixfu for a strange creature Kai and his gang captured her and planned to sell her off as exotic meat to the high folk of Vulnero. Kai realized that Ixfu was in fact a sentient being and came up with an escape plan for her, double crossing his gang members. Kai forms a strong bond with Ixfu, saving her life and introducing her to the new world of Xinith. Ixfu has a crush on Kai.
