[Not cannon] At a young age Noctis was gravely wounded by a attack in the woods he was playing in. Regis decided to help his son and the only way he knew how was taking him to the king behemoth. It’s not something he wanted to do but had to, the behemoth was willing to heal young Noctis’ wounds but in turn he said Noctis would be burdened by behemoth powers due to the injury and that when Regis died the behemoth would take his soul. Regis agreed in order to save the young prince. And later in life the behemoth powers showed with Noctis growing horns and having unique and strong powers only aiding his kingly ones.

The chosen king of Lucius, Noctis was the only heir to the thrown however unknown to him was another but this individual was not fit to rule and had turned to the dark side long ago. Ardyn was his name and he with all his power tried to kill Noctis Ardyn hated Noctis' bloodline from what his ancestors did to him in the past and he vowed revenge on them.

Noct knew what he had to do, the only way to stop Ardyn was to sacrifice himself for once and all.

Noctis is very carefree and doesn't like responsibility until the time comes for it he is a calm person but can get heated in an argument. The only thing Noctis hates is vegetables.
